Tribute to Nik Aa

Assalamualaikum

Lokman, thanx for calling. Sorry I wasn't able to call back coz
thre're so many relatives around and they left quite late that night.
I tried to reach u few days ago, but noone picked up the phones - both
h/p and house.

And to those who've sent cards, e-mailed and called me, thanx and
thousand thanx. May Allah be with you.

I'll start my chemo treatment this monday . And it will be a 5-day
cycle/session (Mon to Fri), every other week, for one year. (About 25
sessions). I saw the oncologist earlier this week and he didn't have
any good words to say. All he said was the risk is very high, or in
other words, the chances to survive is slim. Well, he is just a human,
and Allah jua yang berkuasa. Miracles happen everyday, right ?

So far, Allah has answered most of my prayers. The op was
successful, and I recovered much earlier than expected. No
complications, no after-op effects, no infections, and healthy enough
to travel back to Ipoh 2 weeks after that. My Raya was great,
Alhamdulillah, and I have friends and relatives, from near and far
coming over. What else to ask for ? I enjoyed every moment of the
given chance. Who knows, this could be my last Raya. Or maybe, this
is the beginning of a very long journey of life.

I've heard about those horrible stories on people undergoing the
chemo sessions. I'm not scared or afraid of the pain, but I
hope Allah will give me the strength to endure the pain. I have to be
strong for my kids, and my husband. (......... a man will always find
a wife ; children will never get another mother !)

So dear friends, take care. Selamat Hari Raya. Again, maaf zahir
batin. Doakan saya sihat. Doakan saya agar sentiasa kuat dan tabah.
Dan jika disinilah berakhirnya hayat saya, doakan saya agar
ditempatkan bersama org.org yang beriman. Jika teringat, hadiahkan
fatihah (sekurang-kurangnya) kpd saya. Kalau rajin, bacalah surah
Yaasin. Ada masa dan peluang, I'll write again.
